Fun fact. When I was 10 I played Runescape. And because of this, when a teacher asked how bronze was made, I was able to reply "By smelting Tin and Copper together" and people thought I was smart. So I can attest sometimes you do get correct knowledge from dumb games.

So THAT'S how you beat that mission. I always kept my hat during the hat swap QTE (I thought I needed the Dapper points) and up on getting kicked back to the street level since I have to go for the harder Stardew argument over the Farming Simulator one as a result. I've been stuck in plat monocle hell for AGES because of it.
