Taking COVENTRY CITY back where they belong

After this season’s FA Cup Semi-Final heartbreak, I have to rebuild Coventry City.

Twenty years ago Coventry was a Premier League side.

They were managed by Gordon Strachan, had David Burrows in defence, Gary McAllister in midfield and up front the deadly duo of Dion Dublin and Darren Huckerby.

But this club has really been through the ringer dropping all the way down to English football’s fourth tier as recently as 2018.

This is also the same time that Mark Robins was appointed manager and started their resurgence back up the Football League, even losing last season’s Championship playoff final.

Today we take over at the Sky Blues to attempt to continue the journey and get this team back into the Premier League and see what we can achieve over the next five seasons.

the fact no one has done a premier league winning Blackburn rovers rebuild is suprising, maybe you could for your next one. perhaps a good 442 tactic and an emphasis on local youth (thats how we won in 95, along wish shearer and sutton ofc) would be great to see! love the content as always !

I think London Wasps used to play in the Ricoh, before liquidation. Bromley of course newly promoted in the football league for the first time. A lad that I went to school with was on loan there at the start of his career.
