I'd love to add shrimp to my guppy tanks but shrimp are not readily available in great variety here in Trinidad and Tobago; cherry shrimp are what is mostly found but the more colorful types I've never seen.

I have Aquarium with 50 Guppies + more than 400 shrimps . Answer yes they can. You should build Hidden space or more plants to keep them safe .

I have one guppy and 3 cherry shrimps. My shrimp ate my guppy 😬 I came home shockingly found my guppy lose its fin and tail and a shrimp is feeding on it

i had them on the same tank and the guppies never go after adult shrimp only baby shrimps same way they would go after baby guppies
but only female guppies
males tend to go chase the female guppies
just put a slice of cucumber for the guppies to nibble and add floating plants

We have a 50 l tank and have both cherry shimp and guppies together and both breed all the time that from 4 cherry shimp to about 30 and 12 guppies to about 40 guppies I had to move some guppies to my main tank (which yes I know thy shouldn't be put with big fish like angels but after 3 hours and two small guppies dieing they are now happy together )
