I love the fact that in 15-20 years time, this is going to be so extremely nostalgic to my kids and they'll feel the exact same way I do when I hear the old Zelda or Mario. It's magic to the ears and Minecraft music was the first thing to draw me in to the game, it's actually really beautiful.

Many memories were remembered here today. From dirt huts, to diamond mansions, a home is a place where memories reside, where we can remember a time we had no other worries, than the wheat farm and feeding our dog.

:( My younger brother passed away last year. He was 24. He was the first Minecraft player in the family, starting back in 2011.

I didn't play til 2019, when MC resurged. But I got so addicted, I started my own server and he decided to return to the game too and joined me.

We built a village with our other brothers and sisters. We played heavily during the pandemic, and even had a hardcore server instance.

In Feb 2021, he died in a car crash. I didnt play again until 1.18 came out in Nov 2021. I eventually moved away from the family village to build a 1.18 base.

But from time to time, I'll travel tens of thousands of blocks to visit the family village.

And when I do, I always visit his house, and run materials through his supersmelter. I'll stand on his mob spawner afk platform and afk for awhile to fill his chests.

This song always reminds me of our short, but great memories in Minecraft. It's a shame I'll miss out on what else he could have built and what other adventures we would have embarked upon.

Thank you for the wonderful cover. It brings such bittersweet memories. I hope to learn it on my new piano. Next year for his birthday, I'd like to play it for him at his gravesite.

Regardless of the memes this song makes me tear up. It’s like the song of victory after a hard battle with many losses, its sad and somber yet positive and heartwarming this is a song of the soul
