Crushing Limestone Rock

Показать описание
We visited our projects in Nebraska and Kansas where we're showcasing many of our field operations capabilities.
.
At the quarry site we're stripping overburden, reclaiming, as well as crushing and screening 500,000+ tons of aggregate.
.
We're then transporting the aggregate 60 miles to a distribution hub, and from there placing it along a network of county roads to resurface the gravel roadways.
.
As always, thanks for watching. Be sure to subscribe & follow along on our other social media channels

Awesome production value for such a small channel and such a niche subject. Well done.

Good video Good explanation of the entire process, like seeing limestone and any other stone or rock being loaded and crushed and made into tons of aggregates. Late comments here

You guys have a nice setup using the overland conveyors. Eliminates extra fuel, maintnance, personal, etc esp in a time where skilled labor in the agg business seems to be non existant.

Interesting video. I have worked in quarry for long time. I’ve heard of jaw crusher never seen one used.

If it was me I’d have a taller berm for the haul trucks to back into, not over like that one truck did, to prevent an accident. While it means another piece of equipment and another operator, have a D7 or D8 sized Dozer pushing the material over. You’d be making the MSHA inspector very happy.

That's quite the operation. What's the final price per ton loaded out of the distribution hub?

I noticed the loader buckets didn’t have teeth. Why no teeth when you’re working with rock? I understand when working with sands but doesn’t the limestone rock wear out the cutting edge of the bucket quickly?

No explanation of the actual process of screening and screen deck and choice of screens is where the experience and expertise shows....

Music is WAY WAY louder than the dialogue. Makes for a pretty crappy presentation. Otherwise, it was interesting.

video could have been very interesting, but was spoiled by lousy background music and too much jumping from one scene to the next.
