Not a lot depends on how much you use it and what you are cooling. Its pretty powerful. if you are looking for energy savings you probably want to look into the inverter style Danby one. Doesn't heat like this one can but it quieter and more efficient.

Do you notice occasional drops of water coming from the draining side of the unit? I suspect that my unit is leaking water because some water is coming from the bottom when it should only be coming from the drain holes. It is a very miniscule amount so I may just ignore it.

It has dual vent hoses! Great! Do you know if Hisense has this as a straight cool AC unit? I don't need any heater on it. What model number is this one?

WRONG: an 8, 000 BTU unit will only cool a 250 square feet area. Look it up.

Why when i use the heater only runs for a couple hours then makes me dump the water but with ac it can run all day long for weeks?
