As others have said he's not even talking about his hair. He's talking about his moustache. Either, way, you can't help but wish he'd take care of his hair. Either get a hair transplant or shave it off. I remember seeing someone with a good idea in another comment section one time saying James should use an episode of AVGN where the game pisses him off so much he rips all his hair out and that's where he'd debut his new look.

I started losing my hair at 19. I was a punk kid so I had huge liberty spikes and it sucked watching my hairline recede but I eventually just buzzed my head and for many years now I shave it completely. It is absolutely freeing to just cut it off.

Honestly it feels like REAL fucked up that his balding has become a “thing”. For a lot of people it’s just a regular part of aging. Dude started making Nerd videos in like 2004 and it’s ridiculous to expect him to look the same after 20 years of doing it. He shouldn’t have to address it because it shouldn’t be a thing in the first place. Especially when you consider that the vast majority of his fans are older to begin with. Even a lot of people who found his stuff later are probably at least in their 20’s now. But even if his audience was younger why should it matter anyways? What it’s “super obvious”? Who gives a shit. It was also super obvious when he went from wire rim glasses to thick rim glasses or anytime he buys a new camera and the videos start looking different no one demands he comment on the change and all that shit is at least within his control. His hairline receding just started happening one day. It wasn’t his decision and it’s not his fuckin fault. While yea he could shave his head or wear a hat everyday but he’s also well within his right to do fuck all about it. I don’t know about y’all but I’ve never associated James or AVGN with “stylish hair do’s” so it doesn’t make any sense for everyone to give a shit all of a sudden. How about we all just let the fucking guy be 40 something?

No problem with being bald I just feel bad for James because it happened so damn rapidly. It's usually really common for men to bald more gradually around they're 30s, but it's so weird for it to randomly just start receding that abruptly and fast in his 40s within the span of less than a year
