LEGO Keychain into Minifigure (#Shorts)

How do you take a LEGO keychain and convert it to a minifigure? All you need is some needle-nose pliers and 5 minutes! It's really easy!

I would just heat it up and the metal would be able to come right off but this is much less dangerous

You can also use a match on the same ring and the heat will travel through the center melting a little bit of plastic than you can pull the whole thing out and the legs connect in a weird way to the torso

I did this a while ago with a Nicky mouse one from a Lego shop but it’s nice to know that other people do the same thing!

If you hold the chain over a flame it will actually melt the plastic on the inside allowing you to take the metal rod out completely and disassemble the whole figure

If you hear the metal with a lighter it’s really quick and the full bar can be removed

If you have a soldering iron you can hold it to the top ring until it heats up and then just pull it right out but bc the head piece on this one it's hard to do.. if it was a normal helmet, hairpiece or head it works perfect. I actually have like 5 more so I still have few more chances

I wish i knew this before. A couple weeks ago i was at a LEGO store. i we're near to buy a keychain. But I didn't buy it since I wanted the minifig and not the actual keychain!

You can heat up the key chain and pull the entire post out of the minie figure without damaging the fig.
