Big government is always the problem... never a solution 😡.

This is exactly what Paul Krugman did after the 2008 financial crash. He was always arguing for more giver spending, more national debt, bigger deficits. He never specified how much Obama should be spending, it was always ‘more.’

Hi Keith! I read my 2nd Thomas Sowell book during the peak of COVID. Intellectuals and Society. It was really good but I was disappointed in, what I viewed to be intellectual laziness, around war. I’m sure you’ve read the book, I’d love to see an episode where you talk about the areas of agreement and disagreement in Intellectuals and Society. Thanks, Keith! Keep up the good work.

Sowell knows what he's talking about.

This reminds me of the Great Depression of 1920-21. The government did nothing and the economy recovered quickly.

kensians policy inside the 'free market' led to middle class growth, neoliberalism under Regan and carried forward under the same 'free market' led to the growth of the 1%.
Confusing 'proposed' actions and plans with reality is a hallmark of Clarence's work.

IF ONLY the Democrats had acted sooner (rushing through unnecessary and harmful legislation), things WOULD have turned out badly. Oh, yes, BUT the "Do Nothing" Republican Congress put the brakes on any such "essential" legislation ... and we are all the better for it. IF ONLY the Speaker Johnson-led Congress would do what is TRULY NEEDED: Cutting spending NOW.
