For photos, I use QuickPic. it has the capability to use .nomedia to hide whole folder and subfolder, if needed, and password protected.

so even using another Gallery app, the hidden images are still not shown, unless navigated there using the file manager.

just use private mode on Samsung galaxy phones

you don't need to download a app to hide files, just choose the file you want to save and add a period to the front of the file name (ex) .apk, .hidden, .pics

I miss the old Google gallery app that would hide pics. That's the one thing missing from the Google Photos app. Well that and organizing them.

Just use privacy mode on your Samsung phone... It's in the settings :) you don't need guest mode or so.

30 bucks? Just download Fingerprint Security form Google Play. You can choose what apps are secured with a fingerprint.

use gallery vault . you can hide pic in your dialer by dialing ##yourpin and you are ready to go
