i just watched the movie and the moment this scene came up my eyes was immediately filled with tears.... this was a good one. 11/10 for me. i'll remember this series/movie and how much it made me cry for years to come.

He was so amazed by the fact that shouko san was worried and screaming for him that he forgot that mai always, always loved him more and was always willing to die for him

That scene broke my heart but made me believe that mai was a better tsundere than others in other animes

This tsundere sacrificed her life while the other tsundere only know how to be sassy and mean

Not like i hate shouko, her part of the story was sad aswell but she can never be ahead of mai never ever

I thought it was going to be another harem show with fucked up plot but man I was wrong this show had insane character development and plot I couldn't stop myself from completing it in one day now I want more I hope It gets a season 2
