Really love the passion he has for entertainment and development within creative worlds like this. It shows in his movies -- they are amazing.

The Hobbit movies disappointed me, a lot, but god damn, I still respect the hell out of Peter Jackson.

He has a habbit of making long movies? We do not mind that at all Sir Peter Jackson - Not when they are as good as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit

My guess is the biggest problem with those films is that Jackson did not have time to prep for it like he did with The Lord of the Rings.
If a college class is given a month to write a paper, but a brand new student comes in the day before the paper is due and writes the paper, that person has an extreme disadvantage and is most likely to make a lesser quality paper.
That's what happened here with The Hobbit.
but I also believe the choice to make it three movies was absolutely the wrong choice. It should have been done in one. Two at the absolute most, and even that would be a stretch.

I really liked the first two Hobbit films, but Battle of the Five Armies was downright terrible. What a sad way to end an epic saga.

I loved the Hobbit, I thought it was a great prequel to LOTR.

You can tell Tolkien didn't have much character development as all the development in the films was weak, which can be summed up in the lazy love relationship that was there just to be there. There really was too much CG. A reason why lotr was loved was because of the lack of CG, it all looked natural. This just looked too unnatural. The colours were really over emphasised, dark shades were too dark and there was too much contrast in lighter colours. Lighting was really weak compared to lotr as nearly all lighting was natural there. They are good movies compared to others, but to follow lotr there wasn't enough valid depth, there was too much stuff for the sake of stuff when they could have really made scenes more interesting and developed.

He ruined the Hobbit movies. There was more CGI in those shit things than a faulty piece of computer generation Simpson tit.

It's okay to outright say "I made a terrible film"....he seems to be pretending that he didn't.
