I know you are a business channel, but you missed something even more dire than oil.. China also imports the majority of its FOOD the same way, and they dont grow nearly enough to feed themselves. Forget the oil, it wont matter if the country is starving to death from the same blockade. An army marches on its stomach, and with little food, it would end very quickly.
