UNBOXING A NEW-TO-ME TYPE OF DIAMOND PAINTING DRILL STORAGE - Square Pots?! Are they any good?

Today I am unboxing a new kind of drill storage that I haven't tried before - square pots that hold far more diamonds than the round pots I have already. I had big hopes for these - will my hopes be rewarded?

I would suggest with the Bella Trays to slide the lid back on that, put the spout lined up with the opening of the container, tilt the tray straight up and down then just tap the tray on the top and bottom until all the drills are out. The trays are meant to be a self contained funnel system. Or if you just want to use the collapsible funnel, I poured a little baby powder in it to coat it which works really well to keep the drills from sticking, you just have to make sure it’s a light coating and tap the excess out otherwise it will end up mixing with the drills and they won’t stick as well to the painting.

I've seen alot of people using these larger tictac containers. They do look pretty nice! I might have to get a set myself. TFS❤

I do use the old Bella trays and wanted to try the new ones with the spout but maybe not now 😂 I think the best trays to use these would be from 4kidsat147 since the spout is thinner and longer. The munimade trays also are ok since the opening is bigger and you just have to direct the drills back in.

These containers hold about 2800 drills and I do like using them. I also use trays with spouts like yours and I use the funnel. It does not take but a couple of extra seconds to use it. If you find they are sticking in the funnel try wiping the funnel out with a dryer sheet or spray a little static guard into the funnel. They slide through pretty well then.

Add more zest trays would work as the have narrow spout. Or you could use the plastic funnel that came with them

I bought this same container type storage by sanerdirect but there’s 92 and two layers. Love it!

That looks like a great storage kit. I just bought one of the ones with the round jars off of Amazon and it has a cute astronaut design, but I might need to research this one as well. Thanks for sharing!

I find it easier to just take the lid off to poor the drills back in 😊
