I love the gauge cluster! So many people go to digital gauges when the do these kinds of swaps, it's good to see it still has needles! There's just something gratifying about watching a needle sweep across a speedometer or a tachometer vs reading a digital numbers climb higher and higher.

Brutally tasteful build, keep the essence of the truck perfectly intact!
In my opinion, you put your time & money into all the right places, very inspiring rig!

Beautiful color and sound. But....thats a "hot air" intake.

First time I have seen an engine swap where the easy route of an auto trans was not taken. Well done and that is a beautiful truck.

Nice. Rebuilding a '76 long bed with my dad right now, and an '89 C1500 Chevrolet. These Fords are great trucks

That's awesome man, nice work! My first vehicle ever was a '77 F100 custom, that I got when I was 15.

Had to watch it again, was distracted the 1st time.. excellent integration of the Dakota dash.. and that shot of the wiring panel.. wow! That means alot of work and knowing what you're doing. Love the rim/tire size combo. Straight black steelies.. you bet. Love the manual- I gotta have control of my driveline at certain rpm's, so automatic is out. Great video, I recommend watching it!

I really like the simple fresh vibe this truck expresses very well thought out . Be fun to tag along side you and rip it up in mine .

Nice truck, definitely not a cold air intake though, it’s sucking all the heat from the engine bay.

I owned a beautiful 1977 Ford F150 Ranger long bed. It had the factory two tone white and tan paint. No dents, no rust, absolutely beautiful truck. It had a factory 302 with auto trans, even had working factory A/C. Just a super clean truck inside and out. I should have never have sold it, but 8 mpg and with not driving it that much I decided to let it go. I sold it to a guy in his 50's who swore up and down he'd take care of it, etc. Broke my heart to see it full of dents and engine and trans tore apart a few years later. It turns out he had started to use methamphetamine and the rest is history. Don't use methamphetamine!

I like that body style, I like the round head lights and grill . I owned a 73 of course mine was nothing like yours . I don't like the square head lights . That is a nice truck...
