1:00 #5 Hey bro hate to tell you but the semi doesn’t have to move over for you. That’s 100% your fault for not paying attention and planning your merge.

0:59 It is the MERGER's job to pace mainline traffic, NOT the mainline folks' responsibility to yield.

Clip 5 (0:58) It's your responsibility to merge. You should have been patient and waited until the trucker pass you.

The dump truck moving with reasonable situational awareness (which you need for driving) would have seen that 2 large trucks needed to merge onto the highway (if I can see that from your dash cam, you can see it in real time); obviously the dump truck had to move over (he had no other alternative - they were moving too slowly for him to slow down and let them in); the DC driver should have assessed that and slowed down to let the dump move over.
If you can't process anything except what is directly in front of you while driving (and then panic when it suddenly changes), you are a collision waiting to happen, and you need to hire a private driving instructor to learn some new driving skills or hand your license in.

Almost every single one of these situations was predictable and avoidable. The dashcammers are wrong more often than not.

0:58 Class A driver here: I deal with people like this all day who fundamentally don’t understand how a highway merge works. They merge onto the highway without looking expecting highway traffic to just deal with them and then have the audacity to honk at us. Why was he merging that close to the Mercedes in the first place? That gap wouldn’t be adequate for a motorcycle bruh.

Also, if you’re merging and you notice a semi next to you, your decision to either speed up or brake should be based off where you are next to that semi. I’ve had people in the merge lane who are three car lengths ahead of me but when they look over and see me, they slam on the brakes for no reason when all they had to do was hit the other pedal and speed up. That’s why it’s crucial to accelerate up to highway speeds before your merge lane meets the highway, that way it’s as simple as a lane change. Granted, I totally understand some merge lanes make this nearly impossible since the lanes are so short. But it’s usually variance in speed that causes accidents, not speed alone. So someone merging onto the highway at 30mph is significantly more dangerous that someone going 15mph over the speed limit.

I’m glad the cammer acknowledged his errors but I still feel like they need some work when it comes to merging. The hairs on the back of my neck would stand up if I just blindly drove onto a highway without looking the way he did.

4:35 Do you always scream when someone signals to change lanes? 5:35 how did you not honk or flip that cyclist off? You are a better person than me.

*Finally, the drama with YouTube ends well with a smile. Mega made it in the partner program again. So, I have replaced the lady with the Mega logo. I wish one day I can stop with the texts you very much for the support and love.*

#5 0:58 - 1:24 WTF were you thinking? It was your responsibility to merge safely.

00:58 cammer should’ve kept their eye on the traffic. As they are merging they need to do so safely. The Semi has full possession of that lane. At that speed there was nothing the semi could do to avoid impact.

What is with that huge overreaction to the dump truck at 4:35? You could have easily just changed lanes or slowed down the tiniest bit. That isn't even close to being cut off, he was driving the tiniest bit slower than you and came over with several car lengths of distance past you.

Cammer with the dump truck, have you ever considered, ya know, slowing down instead of maintaining? If you're so scared of him being too close you would think you would back off a bit

4:37 Polite dump truck driver gets honked at for trying to let people merge onto the interstate, the nerve of some people, think they can just let anyone on the road

4:28 the dumptruck driver is getting over to give plenty of room for the TWO entering LARGE trucks. Cammer needs a chill pill

0:58. Driver needs to learn the definition of the term yield. Truck was in the lane and possibly wasn’t able to get over. Then the car driver thinks it’s a good idea to pass in the shoulder and cut off a possibly fully loaded semi truck. It’s insane if you think about it lol.

4:49 If you get that frightened by a truck coming into your lane you shouldn't be on the road.

01:25 Semi did nothing wrong... Yielding is on the vehicle merging onto the freeway

Just came to see who still doesn't know the difference between the words "break" and "brake" and was not disappointed....

1:20 I mean I would have braked, got in lane BEHIND trucker. But you do you, dude.

4:36 truck driver not crazy, you are. he signaled his intention to change lanes giving you plenty of time to react, which in this case was to let him change without being horn happy.
