Jungle Cruise is my favourite Disney ride, and I am so excited to see it is just as corny and hilarious as all the others.

I disagree it's more awesome than the classic US version... the effects are certainly better (esp. the finale) but the ride is just so short (3ish minutes like most of the new rides, or almost all the rides in HKDL).  I may be a bit jaded though having rode this ride dozens of times over the years.  The "schtick" that Phoebe does here is pretty much always the same so it really boils down to the CM's personality (hers was good).  In the US the skippers seem to have a bigger hand in writing their own material, which is also hit or miss but at least makes for some variety.  Now that I'm back in the USA I do really miss HKDL though.. it was tiny but it was ours

The right Skipper at WDW is Funnier!!  Where were the "Plasticus Mechanicus"?  That's the Giant  Butterflies at the start of the cruise.  By the way, they can be purchased at a WDW gift shop for $49.95 (or at your local Wal-Mart for $5.00).
