I was initially wowed by the number of included games. I think 100 is the most I've ever seen in a vintage-retro collection. But I was worried about the front-end interface as Atari Anthology on Xbox was a miserable experience navigating around all the slow, animated sub-menus.

Looks like Vault got it right with a slick interface as well as a simple A-Z list when you just want to quickly browse the collection and dive right in.

Looks like I've got a new Steam game to enjoy this weekend!

The problem with this product is that it targets a very niche market. It only holds value to those of us who got real memories to connect to each of these masterpieces.

Emulation isn't illegal in itself, it's the use of software you haven't paid for or have permission to use (and/or charging others to use the same) that'll get you in hot water.

What would have made it an epic collection is if it included the activision games. With a mouse, those that needed a paddle would be awesome.

looks good! I recently picked up a complete boxed copy of crystal castles on the 2600. now I can play the arcade version too! ☺

When I heard about this I was first a bit skeptical, since I thought it would be kind of like some other recent re-releases of arcade games and just a way to keep their copyrights from going stale and cashing in at the same time, glad to see that it seems like they actually put some thought behind it. Also the online multiplayer sure is a plus.

The arcade versions look great but some of the original Atari console games are meh and will probably never get played more than once.

Every Atari compilation I've played were always really lazy, containing the same 4 games: missile command, breakout (sometimes super breakout on the side), and pong... All the time! This one looks great though!

i might buy it. I saw it yesterday but there were only 3 reviews so i left it for a day and came back. now many more reviews including this so i may get it. I found your video from your post on the steam reviews. £12.74 seams alright for their age but if these were all new games, I think it should only go for £3

I bought a physical copy from Walmart but I've stopped opening games because I KNOW I have games that would have been worth a small fortune if I kept them factory sealed. Im gonna go buy a Steam version.
