Marketing Minute- How to Upgrade Your Text Messages for Business

Happy New Year friends! In October I challenged myself to create a 3 part series called Creative Boss on FABAtv. Its all about setting goals. getting organized and staying committed. Part of my goals for the new year is to do a better job executing my ideas. I also felt a strong need to share things that have helped me so hopefully they can help you too. One thing I needed to work on improving was my resistance to changing times. Like communicating via text message. This little marketing minute is a little helpful tool that has helped me improve my test messages for business.

Hi Heather. I got started late. But i have started. You know i was buying products, getting booked for parties but I never took pictures. I couldn't tell if I was making money, wasn't keeping records or advertising because all of my work came from word of mouth. I am ready. I am going to put updates on here every three months. My biggest block is social media. Thank you for all the information. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing . I will post again on my progress in April.

I have on my website “TXT or CALL trying to encourage people to text me because that way I have our conversation in writing. It’s a good middle ground between a phone call and an email. It’s more informal that an email but is more helpful to me than a call.

Thanks for the tip about the picture! That’s going to make things more professional on my side. I’ve used canva to make post cards, flyers and even banners!

Canva is the app. I’ll check it out. Heather, do you make these on your phone and send it? Sounds like a nice quickie solution when I’m not near my computer and my Adobe programs.
