The Voice Teens Philippines Semifinals: Mica Becerro - Loving You

The Voice Teens is a Philippine reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN. It is based on the Dutch reality singing competition of the same name. The coaches of the show is composed of Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta.

This is the third version of The Voice franchise, after The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids; this is also the second The Voice Teens franchise in the world and the first in Asia.

The song choice is very strategic; she pulled this surprise off right in the semis, which would ensure her win in the semifinals and leave a mark to the voters' mind coming into the finals. Aside from her singing skills, she's very smart and beautiful as well.

Ang sarap talaga pakinggan ng boses niya. Advantage niya na classically trained siya kaya yung mga head tones or whistles niya is malinis at halatang tama ang placement. Very healthy at hindi masakit sa lalamunan yung tunog. Sana mas marami pang maka appreciate sa kanya.

She could be the grand winner, she obviously showed us a lot of talent from opera, to pop, any genre and nag whistle tone pa ha? That is kung magopen lang ng mata ang mga tao. Usually kasi diba botohan? Pinapanalo lang yung naghihirap or base on looks. But! Remember! The Voice is a singing competition where a lot of contestants show off their amazing talent, skills and technique in singing. Pop and rnb aren't the only genres that exists. Filipinos should learn to appreciate opera as well. Rare lang yung mga artist na kagaya ni ate Mica and she's a diamond star who deserves to be recognized to shine so bright. Kaya man bumirit ng ibang artists but not all can do opera, not all can sing queen of the night, not all can do a whistle tone, and not all explores and appreciate the different genre and styles of music. I'll definitely root for ate Mica. I've known her for a long time and she doesn't only sing, she can dance and also draw amazing portraits specially posters. She's indeed very talented but also humble.

I think she's reserving an opera for the finals that will make her win. She knew that she left a great impression on her blind audition and she just maintained it. I know that coach Lea has a gameplan for her. She's amazing. And she's just a teen.

At the blinds, Mica surprised the audience with a Bang! Knowing that classical music is hardly recognized in this side of the world, fearlessly she went on to showcase her unconventional yet solid skill. That alone was admirable. Despite her obvious true talent, a lot were not sold, not because she was not good but more of (sadly) her genre was not appreciated by the masses who are obviously stuck to pop & ballad. As I commented before, after airing The Voice for few years, Mica's presence has added new dimension to this competition, new flavor and refreshing. At the live round, she gave the audience a taste of her concoction of classical music & pop (Bridge over troubled Water). Tonight, she did more than "pop" singing, she in fact serenaded the audience in a very special artistic way. What a virtuoso performance from this young teen. Kudos to coach Lea... her mentor. Am sure, most (if not all) are now raring to witness the song finale from this amazing artist. Win or lose, Mica is already a winner in this season of The Voice Teen Phils.

The way she sang this is immaculate, it’s kinda sad that they didn’t even paid attention to this performance and just waited for her whistle/opera song, her whistle/opera singing is great but the way she sang this song is just heavenly, I hoped people also praised her for her singing, not only for her whistle and opera singing.
