You're shop looks awesome man! Wondering if you could expand on how you got your first machine and customer, and how you finally made the decision to take the plunge and start your own shop, for all us guys considering doing the same 😅 would really appreciate that info .

Looking good man, I part own a small cnc machine shop and it’s always awesome to see other people putting in work and wearing all the hats like I often have to myself. You got way bigger machines than I do though 😢

Good stuff... This is great for business exposure. I am interested in seeing your business grow. As long as you keep making videos, I'll keep watching. If you do continue the series, make sure you include the mistakes along with the victories. Explain your thought process as to why you made those decisions. You could be onto to something special. It's up to you as to how far you want to take it.

As a retired Machinist I would not store the 4th axis at the end because the weight would tug that table down and after a long time put more presser on the right side and wear the table
down. I know that it is a pain I would take it off when done with it. Get a cherry picker and keep
it handy. Good Luck.

Cool shop Matthew, I enjoyed the quick tour. Sure hope to see some more of it soon. Glad you got over the Covid so quickly, I also got it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and am still not over it completely. Ciao, Marco.

Can you take us through a run of the talons from raw stock to final part or at least when you send them out to anodizing

Sounds like the start of a great series of videos 👍
Always interesting to see how other guys organise and run their shops.

You definitely got the feeling right when you Clean-up.
I Hate working in crap and it does weigh me down.
Making time to clean-up does get a little difficult at times.
But, after you clean-up you start to feel mentally lighter with less to think about.
Work Smart, Not Hard.
Always the best way to work.
Some shops I have worked in only clean-up when it's 2 days before Christmas or someone falls over😄
The other positive of cleaning up other than the obvious reasons, the feeling you get when you walk into your shop the next day 🙂

The only suggestion I could add for you videos is try not to give your viewers a sense of Vertigo, the dissy ride might kill some of your audience.
It's your first video of the series so I'm sure things will only get better.
Looking forward to following your story 🙂👍

Really nice lookin shop man. Would like to hear more specifics on your machines i.e. options, what sort of parts your are running on them/what parts tend to be good fits and fixtuing (will be cool to see how you set up that 4th, I am in the process of doing that myself so I would be interested in your take on it). Just sub'd and looking forward to what you put out.

How does the acquisition of equipment work in a machine shop. Financing, etc. Do you search auctions, buy used, buy new? Would really like to see a resurgence of tool & die and machining in the USA. After graduating high school I worked in an old school T&D shop for a while that was run by this German dude who really knew his stuff and ran his business well.
