One of my favorite sayings is" If two people agree on everything, only one person is doing the thinking!"

I missed the live stream but I left you a like because you labeled the video with (scrub) and I want to encourage anti-clickbait! :) I hope the YT algorithm doesn't "learn" to recommend all videos with the word scrub in it to me :D

Me: Can't wait to see the ship launch! But... why has no one posted a timestamp?
Timestamp: 21:21
Me: you can't just add more time!
Timestamp: Hahah Launch go bye bye **Windows XP Shutdown noises**

Love that you changed the title to show the scrub. I don't stay up for them if they're at weird times. Thanks! (now to put a like, because I've appeased the algorithm with a comment and I'm already subscribed).

The space suits he was talking about are also known as skin tight space suits... They do not have air inside, but are like a super strong spandex that is porous.
It uses mechanical pressure instead of air pressure to support your skin.
The funny thing is that they end up looking like something off the cover of an old pulp SF magazine! They have been tested in vacuum chambers and they work, and are dirt cheap compared to conventional suites.
They are porous to allow you to sweat right through the suit, so eliminating a lot of the need for wasting a lot of weight on the cooling system. The only part with pressure is the helmet.
Another advantage is that it has full mobility without having to use the complicated constant volume joints necessary on normal suites to allow you to move. It a break or cut occurs in the suit, instead of dying, you just get a bad version of a 'hicky' :-) For outside use, you would slip on a 'armored' shell to protect you from the sun, and micro particles etc.

In one livestream (I don't remember which one), the SpaceX announcer said that the fairing-catcher ships were currently experiencing software issues that needed to be corrected. It was some difficulty related to the guidance system that tracks the fairing through its descent and positions the ship at the precise location to catch it.

Completely agree with your point about tribalism, we need to move away from this weird notion that everything one side does is evil and the other is good.

Really sucks that you seem to of given up on videos. You had a good thing going. Ive seen people do this before and they took a massive subscription hit.

Hey Tim, thanks for providing the prelauch previews! By the way I just wanted to point out that for this mission it will be Blacksky Global 7 & 8 that will be deployed not 5 & 6. They will be the 5th and 6th Blacksky sats to be launched, but per SpaceX's website (Launches section) it says BlackSsy 7 & 8. Thanks for your great videos!
Looks like Blacksky 5, 6, 9, 10 will be launched on the SSLV later this year.

FWIW, I'm watching a replay and I just saw an ad at the 54:00 mark. Youtuber Fran Blanche did her latest video on this on the new inserting-ads thing that Youtube is doing. I've never seen an ad in the middle of any of your videos before.
