How long can it take for the pain to go away? It has been 2 months now. My optometrist said my retina was fine when he tested it 2 days after it happened. I can see fine but the pain is still brutal.

3 months on and I still have severe eye pain. My retina looks good though according to optometrist. Could somebody wake up blind months because you took so much sun heat?

After the eclipse I had eye pains and intense headaches. Vision is fine though. Left eye is worse. Little wonky. I went to optometrist 46 hours later and he looked at retina and malcula.
Looked intact. He thinks sunburn but the pain is brutal. Gave me steroid drops.
Scared still since I haven't recovered and it is Saturday.
