This time I went to Nagoya on a business trip.
Although it was a short schedule of 2 days and 1 night, I was able to eat lots of local gourmet food during my breaks from work.
Nagoya is a city located between Tokyo and Kyoto/Osaka, making it a perfect place to stop by during your trip to Japan.
Please enjoy your trip to Nagoya until the end.

You just added a trip to Nagoya to my Japan trip in May, I have to try this shrimp ramen 😊

But according to google the Sekai no Yamu-chan is permanently closed 😢 Can you also get the Dim Sum at Yamachan?

I went to Nagoya in March and searched for dim sum because I wanted to eat it, but it says it's closed. Sad

I have been following this channel for awhile now along with a few other Japan food vlogs. The thing that stands out to me is the almost complete absence of vegetables in the diet. Sure, there are some garnishes and the like. But vegetable based meals never seem to get a spotlight.

Now I am not trying to extol the virtues of vegetarianism, veganism or other perversions here. But where is the green in these food adventures. The Japanese food world can't be entirely golden brown can it?
