Roman Anthony - Hey Gio! Love the show. So I Avengers Infinity War cashes in a record breaking $630 million global opening weekend, that’s huge! Especially when you think about how justice league made $657 million globally for its ENTIRE THEATRICAL RUN. My question is, with IW breaking all kinds of records, how possible is it that it could take the all time box office record? Thanks and keep it filthy!

Gannon - I was looking at getting Sinemia after its recent launch in Canada. I contacted Landmark & Cineplex to check if it can be used. Landmark responded with saying they have no partnership with Sinemia, and Cineplex said they don't have any information at this time. What does this mean? Neither of the theatres confirmed I can use Sinemia at their locations, but Sinemia says I can. Should I believe Sinemia and sign up?

Amanda - SO you've praised Josh Brolin's Thanos as being compared to Ledger's Joker in TDK, and I know you loved Patrick Stewart in Logan, so my question for you is: if you could give an oscar to one of them, which would you choose? Does Brolin have a shot at being nominated this year? Thanks and the filthy demands words!

I find it kind of funny how you can accept gods, aliens and super heroes but not a ant playing the drums.

If Andy Serkis couldn't get an Oscar for Caesar, I highly doubt Josh Brolin could get it for Thanos.

Andy Serkis should be the first motion capture actor to win an Oscar.

Does brolin deserve an Oscar for thanos? Yes, absolutely. Will he even be nominated? Absolutely not. The oscars have some sort of vendetta against superhero movies and they’re never nominated for anything. The only one ever was heath ledger, and it was posthumous, it’s likely if ledger was alive he wouldn’t have even been nominated.

If Andy Serkis never won/nominated for his portrayal of Caesar in the Planet Of The Apes trilogy, I don't see why anyone should be nominated for motion capture acting period. serkis deserved it for both Caesar and Smeagol

As much as I would love to see Brolin get an Oscar nom for this. I don’t think it’s possible. If the academy wouldn’t give it to Serkis for the countless great mocap performances. Brolin isn’t getting it. & to be honest. If marvel got a nomination from Infinity War. I would love it to be adapted screenplay. Because what Marcus & McFeely have done is nothing short of spectacular. Weird thing is. Marvel might block itself out with Black Panther on that one

I personally would like to see Michael B Jordan win an Oscar for Killmonger.

Borderline but not yet. Heath Ledger set the bar to high as a villain. His joker acting still scares me and gives me goosebumps.

what brought Thanos to life: 70% the writing....30% Josh Brolin

...hmmm...those lazy ANIMATORS...I guess they slept through this one 🤔

Oh not again John... "I'm not sure IW beats Star Wars" *IW crushes at box office* John: I'm not sure IW passes Star Wars at total box office.
Oh man, Justice League makes 1 billion.

John, you're great reviewing movies and TV but you're terrible at predicting Box Office.

Brolin deserves an Oscar for snapping his fingers.

Will Thanos be nominated? No.
Will Killmonger be nominated? Maybe.

People forget that Avatar did not accrue that amount on it's first theatrical run. Cameron was so desperate to go so far ahead of the pack that he released it again and it earned further money that is added on to it's original run's so Avatar isn't this all conquering film straight out the gate! If the MCU released some of it's films again they'd get over the 2 billion mark .

The academy is way too snobby and elitist to nominate a superhero movie.

The first time I watched Infinity War, I didn’t like it very much. And being a lifelong marvel fan I was heartbroken... but then I watched it again two days after... I don’t know what happened I walked out loving the film. Can’t wait to see it again.
Also John, Great explanation about the comparison between Thanos and Heath’s Joker. That’s a valid discussion.

I agree with John. As much as I loved Infinty War, It's not gonna beat Avatar. Outside from us comic book fans, no one is going to see it more than once. My co workers and boss have all seen it and loved it, but they won't see it again.

How is it you love the first one more than most people, but not impressed by the new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp? It’s more of the same tone, and appears to have even more exciting action without taking out the comedy that made the first one so great.

Hey John don't be too discouraged at the ant-man and wasp trailer, Marvel has a thing for putting scenes in trailers that won't be in the actual movie.
