Salvation is spelled out very clearly in the Bible. Turning from sin is NOT a requirement. Belief in Christ is. But not repenting of sin.

Need some verses to back it up? Here are a few:

Romans 3:28 For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 4:5 And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,
Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—
Romans 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
James 2:24 …a person is justified [in the opinion of other people] by works [service to others] and not by belief [in God] alone.
John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life.
Galatians 2:21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
Romans 3:20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Romans 11:6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
Galatians 3:24 So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.
James 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.
Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.
Genesis 15:6 And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.
John 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
Romans 4:16 That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Romans 3:22 The righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:
Romans 4:1-25 What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, ...
James 2:20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?
Acts 16:31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
James 2:1-26 My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? ...
Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

It's amazing how many "brothers in Christ" get so mad and angry at me when I try to tell them this and also tell them we "ARE SAVED" and you can't lose it. We can rest in our salvation. Once A Son Always A Son.

I am sorry to say that you are highly lopsided .There arr sevaral verses from the gospels of Mathew, Mark andLuke where it is clearly taught.Yes for instance, the story of prodigal son.You cant teach something just based on John and Romans. I wish you mske a proper study of the subject that you are teaching, i mean a comprehesive study .😢😢
