at 3:05 the moment you clock on the first subd it highlights green and you are able to move control points throughout the surface independently. then I noticed that once the first subd was complete it resulted in a formal mass rather than extruded, i would definitely need help on that part for I am experimenting on my mac while im away fro the pc powerhouse. thanks!

In a minute 2.55 I did the same thing, but the result is a rectangle, not a semi-circular shape
