I am so glad your dog was found. We had an old dog who never wandered off disappear one time. We thought he wandered off to die. A week later he came strolling up like he never left. We never did know where he went.
I would stitch that sampler in Red. It will be pretty! That quilt is beautiful!! You should use it! I always tell people to use quilts I gift them.

Many years ago my daughter’s dog was gone for about 10 days. It was a very difficult time but thankfully someone found him and returned him. The sampler would look beautiful in red. 🪡🪡

We are blessed to have Jersey home, YAY! I'm so tickled you have so many finishes. We got a good start on finishes but now there's more...oh boy! I think you can use the red if you'd like. It will be great in any color. You have several new patterns so you better get busy. You did another great job. Thanks for sharing your love of stitching. And, that's ateally pretty quilt. I'm sure it was made with lots of ❤️ Love.

Ok stopping right here to say YES!! Make it a red sampler !! It will be fabulous ! As Lori Holt says “you are the boss of your own quilt !” I have changed several patterns to just red or just black projects and they look amazing!! It will be lovely

I am a pet sitter and the worst experience I ever had was a lawn guy left their gate open. The dog was out and off running in a busy industrial/major road/old neighborhood. I am not a runner but I sure ran that day. Finally I found someone to help me round her up and then had to hold her by the collar all the way back. It exhausted and frightened me more than anything. The girl I had replaced had a dog get out the week prior and the dog was hit and killed. I literally would have died too if that had happened to me. I love dogs 🐕 ♥

Love the red sampler. I grew up in Columbia, TN, very near to Franklin. It has developed into a lovely place to live!

I say YES to red for the Sampler, it will be beautiful! I have stitched 1 red sampler out of a Blackbird Designs book. Working on their free chart in all black, I think it's called Blackbird! I really want to stitch one of Whilst Iris Naps Red Samplers. I LOVE red & black. I'm so happy your Jersey girl made it home, thankful nice people saved her from the highway. You have been a busy lady stitching all of the pretty pieces. I stitched Cherry Hills Cup of Cheer last year too & immediate bought the new chart. So many cute patterns & so little time. I wish I lived close I would definitely attend your stitching group.
