Bought This Beautiful 1972 Headphones From Pioneer SE-30 ( MADE IN JAPAN!!!)

Very cool piece from 1972 Made in Japan looking like the back of mud turtle,It has an amazing sounds and it has a perfect fitting when you put in on.Very nice vintage headphones.

The audio quality of this headphone is exceptional.
Even though it was practically an entry-level model in the SE line, the Pioneer was, as always, very capricious.
I've owned a 30A model for decades and its only problem is the vinyl coating on the hubcaps, which has been shrinking over the years.

I have recently bought “new old stock” scan-dyna K72x headphones that almost look the same as yours. Also in the original box. Brand new from the seventies . The times the good stuff was made build to last.😊

I recently picked up a very nice set of SE-50 headphones. They sound really good and I just really like the comfort of these older vintage headsets. Mine have separate tone and volume controls on each side. The controls are a little scratchy, so I'm disassembling them to clean them with some Deoxit. I'll also be replacing the cushions since the leather is beginning to flake off in little bits. Wish me luck.

Nowadays those branded headphones made in China are craps. The plastic ear cushions keep peeling off and cause a mess. Even worse, the head bands become sticky and uncomfortable to touch.
I have a Sansui SS2 headphones that's about 50 years old that still works perfectly. Also bought a Sansui SS20 at the same time, a 3 ways headphones but sold it because it was too bulky.
