I turned on the man that gave me life The man who handed me everything that I didn't earn. But I took it for granted and the reason he kept me under his shadow was for me to learn for when he retires I'll have to carry on the legacy. But I guess my anger and jealousy made me blind from the truth for so long. And Dad if you're listening I just want to say and this also goes to you Mama and aaylah mysterio that I'm sorry. After Royal rumble, on raw opening a segment with Cody Rhodes, Dominik Mysterio, Logan Paul, Jey uso, CM punk, Roman reigns, the bloodline, Nick aidis, Adam Pearce, and triple h. Triple h explained why he declared both mysterio and Rhodes He wanted to recreate what happened 30 years ago when Bret Hart and lex Luger became the first col Royal rumble winners and that he wanted to repeat history and did not want them to battle it out because they both earned it. Both wrestlers each have an option to challenge either Roman Reigns for the undisputed universal title or CM Punk for the world heavyweight championship. Surprisingly they both chose Roman Reigns. And fans were surprised there was no tension between the co-Royal rumble winners as. They had after the Royal rumble a conversation with Hunter and Khan. Explaining that Roman Reigns undisputed Universal title has two lineage of both the WWE championship and the Universal title. Which means they can buy a technicality still be defended separately. Cody says that his mission was to become the WWE champion and that's what he'll do so he has selected the WWE championship. And that Dominik chooses the universal title (both the blue and gold version). Dominic explaining that after his match with Gunther something changed in him that he has improved himself and wants to show that at WrestleMania. If he can get in the ring with Gunther he can definitely handle Roman Reigns. Triple h announces that Roman will defend the WWE title against Cody Rhodes on day one of WrestleMania in Roman Reigns will defend the universal title against Dominic Mysterio at day two of WrestleMania.
