Hiking to Fairy Meadows and Nanga Parbat || Pakistan Travel Vlog

Epic hike to the worlds 9th tallest mountain Nanga Parbat in the Gilgit Baltistan Region of Northern Pakistan.

26,660 feet. The worlds ninth highest mountain. Towering above Northern Pakistan, Nanga Parbat begs to be conquered, yet it is one of the most dangerous mountains in the world, earning its nickname: Killer Mountain. Though there was no chance I would climb it, I wanted to get as close as I could to this monstrous rock. The trek started with a jeep drive up the worlds most dangerous road. Then a gorgeous hike to Fairy Meadows, where we camped for two nights. Followed by an attempt to Nanga Parbat base camp, but the snow made the journey impossible for us. We had the most beautiful 3 hiking days amongst some of the worlds highest mountains, and here’s how it went…

As ive been dragged into this mission by my sister and now im dreading it. And also are therr any hotels we can stay in instead of camping? Can you get as close to the mountain without camping. Were you aware of the 2013 Nanga Parbat Massacre before travelling here ? Couldn't find you talking to locals about it, just wondering what's the current conditions in terms of violence.
