Just found you! MANY THANKS for actually showing the location and illustrating it! Our little ranch in New Mexico has dark skies and no light pollution. New Mexico has a Dark Sky Ordinance that bans lights that can interfere with the night sky. All outdoor lighting must face down. Our state also has Dark Sky parks. From just outside our back door, the Milky Way is so bright you can almost read by it. When we get out our 12" Dobsonian, we have been able to get some great photos. We actually keep the telescope in the living room so we can move it out front of the house, or in the back LOL. Right now, Venus and Saturn are blazing with the moon. When I look to the east, there is Jupiter. It has been nice and mild here so getting up and putting on a jacket after midnight will be no problem. Thanks for a terrific YouTube channel. I'll definitely be telling my friends who are also astronomy-philes about your channel! 🤠🐴🌠🔭

I got my sky app pointed to ursa major, compass, blankets and hot tea with feet facing north on my rooftop and saw a splendid show! Little short whisps to long bright streaks from 2 o clock to 7 o clock across the sky. The cosmos delivered quite a brilliant show.
