Have you considered the Father's love?

If you’re a Christian, you cannot resist the impact of the fact that Jesus Christ died for you. It will melt you; you can’t resist it. However, it is possible to miss the fact that it’s the Father who sent the Son. We often think of the Father as saying, “Okay, I guess I’ll send Jesus to go save my people,” but that’s a lie from hell. It was the Father’s love for you, from eternity past, that was set upon you and sent His Son. We see a Father who sends His beloved Son, and that Son didn’t just go down a well to be pulled up again. He went down to die a bloody death on a wooden cross. The Son was lowered all the way into the grave, but He rose again. At whose command? At the command of the Father, who spoke, and Jesus rose.
