Cantor Schwartz's joyful L'Kha Dodi puts a smile on my face every morning. I can overlook the few pitch problems as I get lost in the gorgeous music of Ovinu Malkeinu, Jerusalem of Gold, and so many more familiar and unfamiliar melodies. An extra-special standout is Adon Olam, sung to George III's aria from the musical Hamilton. This collection of Jewish music is priceless and simply adds to my pride in my Jewish heritage. And no, I am not what one would consider "of the younger generation" (at least not age-wise – 84). Musically and emotionally I continue to grow with the music and hope never to reject anything as being for the younger crowd. The old quote applies:" I know what I like", and age has nothing to do with it. Those who close their minds to the new and different may well be missing a special experience. Keep singing, Azi.

Thank you Cantor Azi Schwarz, This is so joyful and beautiful. It reminded me of some psalms, praise God with songs and dancing. I am not Jewish but I visited Israel, prayed at the Kotel and participated in the Sabbath there. What a great experience, renewed now as I watched this video. Shalom!
