Slain in the Spirit is NOT Biblical

I was involved in a holiness church fir many years. I questioned a lot of things I saw and heard. I was told the problem was with me, I was not spiritual enough, I held back, maybe there was something in my life I needed to deal with. I finally walked away and guess what, according to the church I have backsliding. It's always you abd your fault. If you are in a pentecostal, holiness, word of faith, nar, name it, and claim it prosperity church get out and get out now and start the road to recovery.

I have had some amazing things take place in my life as a believer and minister of the gospel and I love Jesus with all my heart, and soul, he's done thru me, but by his power, and I was in my sixty, I was in awe of what he did, i am now in my 80s thank you jesus and very thankful for each hour of each day, Glory to God ❤😊

This has something that I've expressed to my "seasoned" believers on what is the spirit & what is not. I've always said falling to your knees is showing repentance & genuine reverence to the king (Jesus). Falling back is not only a showing of falling away from God, but also not biblical. Since I’ve been following Corey, Justin Peters, Voddie Bauchem, etc I’ve decided to leave my Assembly of God church. There has always been pressure to speak in tongues but they are increasingly having guest speakers that “have meetings in heaven” “God repeatedly gives them messages” prophesying over everyone emphasis on faith healing. 🙄 it’s become hard to tolerate for me.

I remember going to a Benny Hinn concert, and he did his swimg the jacket at the crowd thing saying we were going to feel the presence of God. Well, he counted to 3 and alot of people in the autotorium went down except me and my wife. We thought it was something wrong with us.

So another time at a small church, we were all asked of we wanted to feel the presence of God, she counted to 3 and waved her hands and everybody around us was falling into their seats except me and my wife. Again, we thought it was something wrong with us. Was God mad with us or something?

I really wanted to be slain in the spirit soo bad, that Inwent up for the prayer/ hands laying. I thought that maybe when the pastor lay hands on me I am suppose to go down (not faking it) then I would feel it. Well after laying on the floor for what seemed like forever praying that God would do something, I got up discourage.

But thank God through scripture study and finding godly man online in 2005-2006 I seen the error of WoF. It's very dangerous for a believer to be attached to this. They will be discouraged and realy think they have to go through a million hoops to please God. Like they have to earn His favor.

Biblically speaking every time you see the word slain in the Bible the context/meaning of that word is used when someone/something dies aka a sheep or goat or Jesus the lamb that was SLAIN for the sins of the world. So I always say I don’t want a person who is slain in the spirit around me because they’re basically saying they’re dead in spirit. 😂

When I was young (in the late 1970s), my parents attended a Charismatic church. During one service with an itinerant preacher I went forward to be prayed for. When he laid his hand on me to pray for me I kept looking behind me. After the service my mom asked me why I kept looking behind me. I told her I was looking for the chair he was trying to push me in.

I am so thankful God rescued me out of the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement.

Reminder When The Power of God Falls & The Hand of God Moves ⬇️

When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Philippians 2:10-11 Nkj- that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,  and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

That aside, yes their are a lot of folks faking miracles and being instructed to fall out calling it (slain) which is not what scripture calls it, thats another man made religious term.

And Im not fan of catching people as they fall? Looks fake!

So if someone is going to fall, let them! No need to catch. If its real, God is able to raise them up well.

I have seen a few people fall out, run and dance and had demons cast out as they screamed, and it was genuinely real!

But their are tons of counterfeit miracles, just to be seen on your favorite christian celebrity pastor tv shows. They are not fooling God. Every knee will bow, no choice about that, now thats power!

A preacher once tried to make me lay out in the spirit and when i didnt go along he said i was fighting the holy spirit. Also Speaking in tongues is real its just real tongues that is rare!

I grew up in a Pentecostal church where people often “spoke in tongues” and were “slain in the spirit”.. these days it makes me mad and very sad to see the deception. Thank God I’m not still in that. Now it’s late at night when I’m watching this, but when you said “slain in the angel”, it had me rolling. 😂😂 I’m sorry. I know it’s horrible but it did make me laugh at how ridiculous it all sounds now. Thank you for making this video. God bless you and your ministry.

The Scripture says demons trembles at the name of Jesus. some of what we be seeing is people under the influence of demonic spirits. They fell and shook when Jesus rebuked and cast them out. I totally agree with your explanation, a job well done.
