Toei Animation Logo History

Konichiwa, the name is Jon-san. Wait, that was rubbish. Sumimasen :-P

This video was extremely quick to make, and I had loads of fun digging through these logos.

Founded on 23rd January 1948 as Japan Animated Films, their name changed to Toei Doga in 1956, then Toei Animation in 1998. Based in Nerima (Tokyo), they have produced numerous series, including Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Digimon, One Piece, The Transformers (between 1984–1990, including several Japanese exclusive productions), and the Pretty Cure series.

My next logo history will be whatever is voted highest on a poll that I'm working on, which will be released sometime soon.

Fun fact : Toei Animation mascot was named Pero, character of their company's animated film entitled Puss in Boots (Nagagutsu o Haita Neko)(1969)

Toei Animation also worked on the cinematic cutscenes for the game Chrono Trigger starting with the PlayStation port.

Toei Animation has some great anime series. What I think is the greatest anime series ever would be Dragon Ball. And the logos in this logo history are interesting:
• 1997-2017: It's an amazing logo. Really memorable for those who watched animes from Toei like One Piece. Luffy, that pirate that has the power of extending his arms.
• 2017: Another one of the great logos of the 2010s.
