Blue-Eyes White Dragon is still the only vanilla with 3k atk, gogiga gagagigo and rabidragon sit at 2950 because of Blue-Eyes White Dragon

There are still no Normal Monsters above Level 8 as well. Although, if we get into non-effect territory, there may be like a Synchro or something.

Idk for sure, but I think it was always intended for blue-eyes to be the strongest normal monster in the game with the only one reaching 3000ATK as a symbol of Kaiba’s ultimate power and the almighty power of the Blue-Eyes Spirit in the Ancient Egyptian lore, with the only stronger monsters in the context of Ancient Egypt being the Egyptian Gods and themselves (disregarding Exodia and Creator of Light because of their their abilities and Zorc just has plot armor) not to mention, they are all effect monsters as well.

I feel like it's probably at least partially a conscious decision on Konami's part to keep Blue-Eyes White Dragon as the strongest normal monster in perpetuity.

Blue-Eyes will never be dethroned because of its legacy in the franchise as a whole.

Also no hope of Frostosaurus being dethroned in the TCG since Lucifer was one of those crossover promotional cards. I doubt it would ever get reprinted in the OCG because of that.

I really appreciate this video because being a collector, I wanted to gather all the normal monsters released in France and if not in French, in English version since the beginning of Yu-Gi-Oh TCGs. I had stopped the collection in February 2019 but it includes more than 540 different cards! It was a very big job of research but a joy to do it. You are totally good on your data ! :)
