We were discussing this very thing in our adult Sunday School class this past week! Human hope is "fingers crossed, might happen, wish it would happen." In Christ, our hope is sure. It is built on Christ Himself and the finished work of the cross! What a blessed assurance!

I love everything you shared today! You are so relatable, Chynna. I appreciate how authentic you are so much. I can say the same thing about my prayer life ~ I spent so many years as a believer not realizing how much talking to God changes my perspective. Talking to him now is what I crave. And I pray more for others now than ever before. I've been a believer over 50 years and I never realized that growing in our faith and growing our relationship with Christ is a long process. And Satan tries to derail us continually and learning to rebuke him should be a daily part of our life. He has NO authority over us as believers and we need to learn to rebuke Satan in Jesus name and rely on the Holy Spirit to intercede for us to keep our focus on Jesus, even when we struggle.

Oh China, I so needed your message today! I was feeling down. Allowing people to disappoint me. Long story short I had a dream over a year ago that God wanted me to start a Bible study in my community I live in. It started out with just myself my hubby and another person. We would have dinner alternating homes each week. For the longest time it was just us three. Then one week 2 other couples joined us. Hallelujah! I thought we were having a great time together but after about 9 months one of the couples decided to bow out. And then tonight the other couple bowed out. I felt like a failure. I felt like giving up! I tried to do God's will and I was really feeling down, feeling like I'm not enough.. Then I came across your message and I realized I was allowing Satan to steal my happiness. Thank you China. 🙏♥️.

Hi Chynna, it’s Debbie Clarke, I wanted to share a story of Penn of Penn and Teller, I hope, I’m quoting him correctly. He was interviewed once and asked, something along the lines of, what would you say to a person who told you the only way to heaven is to ask Jesus to save you, his answer…thank you. The interviewer said, why would you say thank you? Penn said, because that person cared enough about me to share an idea that would keep me from an awful fate. He said, it doesn’t matter if I agree or not with that person, it’s the fact they thought enough about me to tell me. If we share recipes and beauty tips, why wouldn’t we share Jesus?

Love your passion. I believe your intentions were good and a Great example for Hollywood. There could be a possibility you might be out of touch with the average American.
