Anyone else interpret the phrase “something has to break” as in— I myself have to submit to Christ?

“When You have Your way, something has to break”— as in, I need to deny my sin, my flesh, & my worldly behaviors (they need to BREAK) so the Lord to have His way. 🤭❤️ these lyrics are very humbling.

I think this song re-saved me. I grew up in church, was baptized at the age of 15, I’m 31 now. I’ve strayed so so far. Sometimes I feel like God doesn’t hear me anymore, but I know that’s the enemy. God has never left my side. I’m moving to Colorado in October I can’t wait to visit this church. God is so good
