I head up into the mountains to experience an incredible blizzard, camping in my Fiat Ducato van. This was quite the incredible experience and I was lucky to capture the cozy feeling of the blizzards and snow storm in HDR. I bring my new DJI mini4 pro drone for the first time and circle the highest mountain plateau of its kind in Europe as the first leg of my arctic winter tour.

My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in the USA and Canada.

This is my complete first winter of Winter Van Life in extreme conditions in the North, living in a van during freezing temperatures. Starting in January I go through the whole winter season of snowy winter adventures from January to April, with snow storms, blizzards, extreme cold, extreme snowfall, slippery roads and some amazing winter beauty as well.
I also show you what I learned from my first winter in the van.

Just turned 50, stuck in a huge house alone with my dog. Bored out of my mind. My goal is to sell everything, purchase a Van/Motor Home and travel the rest of my life. I traveled all 50 states with my grandfather who did this at 40, he was one of the original traveling vagabonds and loved every minute of it. I loved every second of our adventures together. Including the breakdowns, the storms and other issues we adapted to and overcame. I'll be planning this for the next 15 years.

I saw on the news that Norway has been hit pretty hard by storms already this season. Stay safe and warm.
Nearing the end of the video, an idea that might help in the snow. If you do not use your defroster letting the front window get real cold the wipers will not ice up.
