I always question why you call forwardslash '/' as backslash '\' in your videoes. Not sure if it is your country or not. Like the carret '^' is not an up arrow. Being a PC users since 91' back then I did not know shift from ctrl. Everytime I hear you say backslash and then type forwardslash, it cracks me up! But I do enjoy watching your videoes and I will continue to watch them to absorb as much as I can. Thank you for bringing us such precision content! YOU ROCK DANI! First off thanks a million for your great videos. You are a natural teacher! I have been finally able to understand php concepts that I never did before. Just ONE issue so far
I am on lesson 29 and I get a phpMyAdmin - Error
"The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. See our documentation for more information."
I am using everything you taught (ie xampp etc)
I have searched the web for answers and they say I have to change some details in the php.ini file...but there isn't one...I have no php.ini file
I used the
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
to see if I could find where the file is but it just shows :
"Configuration file (php.ini) Path = no value
Loaded configuration file = none"

Please can you help?

Last year I downloaded directly from Oracle a MySQL relational database and the setup seemed very different from the Phpmyadmin version of MySQL?
The version I downloaded from Oracle was so much different in comparison to the Php version? The oracle version you have to use SQL to create a database or even a table. The Php version I saw you in this video create it with a click of a button?
Do you know if your able to use the Oracle version which you download directly from the Oracle site could be used with PHP? Or are you only allowed to use the MAMP or XAMP version only?

When I try and run MySQL on Apache

I have a question about getting to the myadmin page. It only works when I include localhost:8080. Without ':8080' it doesn't work and since I'm new to all this so I don't really know what any of it means. Do you know why 8080 is needed? Thank you for doing this series.
