Amazing edit like always! Honestly, I'd doubt the theories that say Toothless will fight the unknown night fury stranger for the light fury.
They'd probably just scream pure joy at each other

Ok I see a number of lit ideas here i really do, but just picture if a few different figured emerged from the forest of varrying ages. Some of Toothless's lost relatives and an unrelated/unmated member(s). This in my opinion opens so many possibilities for lore and would almost give the Light Furies a evil vibe like an invasive species of sort. With their adaptations to blend in day or night this could make them seem almost like "parasites" even to the night furys, having encroached on their territory and resources and between them and Grimmel have pushed them to near extinction but there are a few that managed to survive by fleeing to other lands. They did this because as we know it the earth isn't in fact flat, even the "edge of the world" as Stoick described it is basically a round pitfall into the ocean. This leads us to the theory even in this universe the world is likely round and the dragons may have figured that out before the Vikings. It would also explain in this scenario the Light Fury's aggression to the other member of his species an further fill the rules of life and parasite mentality: The best adapted will win through. Toothless blends into the night sky automatically, and The Light Fury doesn't so she might see that as a better adaptation to add to her genetic line through offspring. Thus making Toothless a prime potential mate that she would try to chase others away from. Especially other Night Fury's.
