This is my second read of this wonderful novel. It's one of those kinds of books that are challenging but rewarding, and I think those are my favourite kinds. They're the ones that stay in my mind, and I feel that they leave a positive mark on me and age in my mind over time. I'm almost certain to revisit this in another 10 years or so.

Audio seems good to me 👍

Ahh, Foucault's pendulum.
I only read it once but it's been a while now.
I enjoyed the plot at least on a surface level and the final crescendo was very fun.
There's at least a couple of references to Dante's Divine Comedy which were fun to catch. The whole thing is a collection of references.

I should definetely give it a go and read it again one day.

It feels so good to listen to your insightful points about the books you read, I like it so much. I'm reading Dune and I'm loving it. Frank's writing is so gripping and the story is so captivating. Again, It is so good to listen to you. Thank you.

I started Foucault's Pendulum but that was it way back then. I was young and had recently read The Name of the Rose, and I think I was a bit burn't out. But I love and totally relate to all the things you say about Creativity. A great book about this connection and flow that is created when we create is Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. Thank you.

Oh no! I am also a migraine sufferer and it makes it tough to be a reader. I haven’t heard of this book. Thanks for sharing. Adding this to my tbr!

Hello. Your audio sounds fine. And I'm not a young viewer. If I can hear your audio then it's sounding good. Have a great day!

I'm really enjoying your channel. You're vibe is very relaxed and inviting. I've only read Eco's Name of the Rose and really enjoyed that. I think I'll check out Foucault's Pendulum now. Thanks!

I have had a hardcover edition of this on my shelf and TBR for nearly two years now. Your thoughts and comments on it have definitely moved it up on my TBR a bit. Cheers.

I have the hard copy on my shelf in its DNF state. I will give it a shot again. During my long distance commuting decades there were a lot of DNFs😢. Now i work long hours but at least I'm not driving for hours so...I'm back to reading challenging books. Go figure.

Hope you feel better. Invite Willow back. 😂

I am guilty of buying books solely based on their cover... And this one certainly has an intriguing one! Combined with your insightful comments on it, it has now secured itself a place on my tbr.
By the way: The high-pitched noise is all gone now 😊!

I can see that Willow loves a good read. 😁
I read The Name of the Rose years ago, and all I remember is enjoying it. 🙄
Right now I’m reading the short stories of Robert Louis Stevenson because I realized I had never read The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. These are some very weird stories! 😆

After reading The Name Of The Rose years ago, I started adding Umberto Eco novels to my collection. Procrastination is a pain. The audio is fine on my end.
