If you are a registered Pro member on HVAC Talk, access my diagnostic article in the Educational Forums. Your first question is always, "is there power?" This means that you first make certain you have a call at the unit, and that the harnesses for the ECM are making good contact. ECM's of this vintage often have very intermittent connections at the motor end of the harness. These two reasons (G call power at the unit and iffy connection in the unit harness) are why the Tech Inspect fired up the motor right away. It is also why your pressures were so low, because of the frozen coil. That takes your refigerant sat temp down to freezing. Come and join us in the Pro section.
