This song gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it in November 1993 and even now, nearly 25 years later, it still does during most listens. Few songs capture both the utter holiness and majesty of God as displayed in creation and vividly depict interior transformation as well as this song does; the beauty of the poetry and the thoughts communicated still move my entire being. Gregmuzak, I found your videos of this concert some 4-to-4.5 years ago and thanked you for them then; it is still the best tribute to Rich that I've ever run across. You completely nailed this song and most of the other ones you performed during this concert; your renditions are wondrous indeed. Thank you again.

Wow. That was excellent. I saw Rich several times, from Bakersfield, CA to Wilmington, NC and in between, met him (and Beaker, Jimmy, Mark, Rick and Aaron...Ave G). He was always good in concert--authentic. Even personable if you could find him afterward. :) Thanks guys. I miss Rich.

love this song.Saw Rich twice in concert:-which of his albums has this song:"The Color of Green". ?His music has been the best of the many lovely Christian artists of his time-so important a backdrop, in living my walk with God !!!!

What's the instrument being played between verses - sounds kinda like a recorder, but doesn't look like one.  Any insight would be appreciated!
