I think the most unrealistic part of this movie is a kid like Peter Pan reading the tag on the present before ripping into it.

Man that was a time when Disney had some guts to make a great villian who is hellbent to kill the hero at any cost. That was the good Disney i knew and grew up with. Not the Disney that is today. 🤕😓

That was some explosion. To destroy a good chunk of the island and rock the ship that's somewhat a kilometer off shore. Not to mention the cloud of debris. That's like a small nuclear bomb.

In the book, the evil Captain hook tries to kill peter pan with a simple drop of poison🩸 but here in the disney, he tries to kill peter in a different manner. Instead, he uses a bomb🧨😱

Disney at the time thought a surprise bomb would be more exciting than a small bottle of cordial laced with poison…
That bomb seemed to have wiped out everything including its wild inhabitants… I do wonder if it left the young audiences past and present terrified… >.<
