Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176, 000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000, 000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400, 000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

Asking for a discount on your Starbucks, especially when you are worth millions, is embarrassingly lame.

I have a small business and I often don’t take clients that ask for a discount because those people have proven to be the most problematic. I’ve also stopped negotiating with vendors and the quality of the work and people have gone up. You’re way smarter than me so I’d love to hear your take on it. For example I never negotiate with my Airbnb cleaners anymore and they do an excellent job and don’t leave. I also give them bonuses. In the past I had terrible luck with them.

The secret path to being rich and successful is to get your hands around an e-book 'Chase No More: The Path To Success'. Author addresses every key aspect of life. Self-improvement, making money, achieving success and wealth, having good sense of fashion and style. And the writer presents it in a beautifully engaging manner. It was like mind-opening experience for me and the best thing is that it is a very short read.

Idea: Cold showers aren't the same as a cold plunge, but--a start imo for a "poor" man. Like a wise one told me once, watch the word can't. Make sure its not don't want to. Check "can I" first. Check priorities honestly and it will reward in the long run. Great advice, btw 👍

The habit I need to improve is surrounding myself with better people.
Currently, I am in my last year of college... At age 49 (semi retired ). My classmates are 21-25 and I am older than some of the instructors. 😂
