Why pay 20$ when you can download them for free like custom content, it isn't worth it for what you are getting.

@TheDailyCrumb I didn't waste a dollar on these, just SimPoints I got from promos or as gifts :D
And downloading fan-made towns is totally the way to go, as I pointed out near the end of the video. There's just no way a town is worth twenty or more bucks to me!

@V3ryan Unfortunately, that's only half true. All that comes on the Hidden Springs DVD is Origin: the EA download service. You still have to put in a code to download the town, just like Barnacle Bay.

@ohohothisrocks No plant sims. Just sims with green skin, which you have in all versions of the game that I know of.

@thedeterminator1 Yeah, YouTube's subscription box service hasn't been working the past couple days for some people. Working fine for me, but I know a lot of my friends are having issues so it's likely rather widespread. Oh well, people will find this eventually, I'm not worried :)

@gottagame9000 Yes, as far as I know they should install just fine since they install through The Sims 3 Launcher, so it shouldn't be dependent on any kind of digital distribution platform.

I got monte vista and hidden springs for 9$ at walmart and it's definitely worth that at 4.50$ each town but no way worth 20-20$

I got this one & Monte Vista (packaged together) on sale. Didn't feel so wasteful. Hidden Springs is pretty & it's fun to play rich people occasionally.
