The crew of SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission made history on Thursday, as they embarked on the world’s first-ever private spacewalk.

Billionaire Jared Isaacman, 41, exited the Crew Dragon capsule first. He was followed by SpaceX engineer Sarah Gillis.

“Back at home we all have a lot of work to do, but from here Earth sure looks like a perfect world,” Isaacman said after emerging from the spacecraft.

Isaacman, Gillis, Scott Poteet, a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, and SpaceX engineer Anna Menon had been orbiting Earth aboard Crew Dragon since Tuesday’s pre-dawn launch.

When your private 'spacewalk' is the equivalent of poking your head out the window for a second...

It wasn't a"space walk" at all. They poked their heads out of the capsule for a few minutes and went back in. You can hardly call that a space walk. SpaceX, let NASA handle them from now on because that was an embarrassment.

The billionaires if proud of our planet should take the same amount of money that they spent to look at earth from 170km and spend it on repairs to our planet and helping out the other 98 percent of people , sadly they won't they will sit back with their egos and say " what a fine life I have" while people are starving, 😢
