Myrtle Beach resort fire

Myrtle Beach Fire Dept. and Horry County Fire Rescue evacuated hundreds of people due to a multi-alarm fire at Captain's Quarters Resort Wednesday morning.

One resort guest, who's visiting from Pennsylvania with 15 of her family members, said they headed to the beach for safety.

"We are obviously asleep, and then my father came pounding on the door. And I didn't think anything of it. He's pounding and pounding. I open the door to see who it is and then the smoke."
